Additional New Features As Part of This Release

• Reducing setup time just got easier thanks to a new optimize option that schedules jobs on resources that are already setup to run similar jobs.
• Activity Scheduling Grid: This feature replaces the old ActitySchedulingGrid and allows for scheduling without using the Gantt. You can now schedule on a list view, and sort jobs by custom attributes and user fields.
• Multi-Move:You can move multiple activities at once, which can save a lot of time. Related features allow you to move on the Gantt more easily, meaning less Gantt scrolling and more precise moves.

System Performance Enhancements

• The amount of memory the system uses for both server and clients has been reduced by 5MBs per user.
• The publish speed has increased by about 90%, so there is less time waiting for publishing of data to the SQL Server.

Other Enhancements

• KPIs can be hidden and the color of KPIs can be changed. This allows you to more easily compare scenarios and see the quality of their schedule.
• Better support for alternate routings.
• Several MRP improvements, including better management of SafetyStock and improved job generation.
• Many improvements to installation and instance management, means less work for IT and easier creation and use of test instances.
• Better multi-monitor support - windows will appear on the monitor they were last used on.
